La Jaclotière – on the outskirts of the small village of St Georges du Bois, situated 21 miles (30 km) from Angers and 17 miles (24 km) from Saumur. Our nearest small towns are Baugé and Beaufort en Vallee. The ferry ports of Caen & St. Malo are only a 3½ hour drive away. Only 10 minutes drive from the A85 autoroute, we are an ideal location for an overnight stop on the way south. The airports at Tours (flights from Stansted) and Nantes (flights from Gatwick) are both only 90 minutes away – car hire available at both airports. Fly to Angers from Southampton with FlyBe – Angers airport is 20 minutes (24 kilometers) from La Jaclotière. Airline links: Travel to Angers by train – Eurostar to Lille, TGV to Angers. Three hours on the train, depending on connection times. Car hire available at Angers station. Why not stay longer and explore some of the many attractions of the area? Visit the historic chateaux, sample the wines of Anjou, play golf at Baugé (one of the top ten courses in France) or just wander the quiet lanes. We offer a double bedroom, with a 2-metre double bed, on the ground floor, with en suite shower and wc. We cannot accept animals and the house is no smoking.
